I always dreamed of shooting weddings full time! But I never actually thought I could get to this point! My calendar is packed with 25 to 30 weddings a year! This is the definition of #blessed! With the growing amount of committed Saturday events, I am opening applications for hiring a permanent wedding day assistant!
As much as I love when my husband assists me on wedding days, it’s no longer realistic for me to ask him to work 40 hours during the week and an additional 10+ every Saturday! I also have two very trusted friends who assist (shoutout to Kellie and Taylor), but as they build lives and careers of their own, their time is limited. See what it’s like Behind The Scenes!
This (and many other reasons) has me excited to announce that I am hiring a permanent wedding day assistant!
A servant spirit, light hearted sense of humor, and an ability to be authentic are the cornerstones of the Jessica Brees brand. I’m looking for a cheerful, energetic, self-starting, dedicated person to love on our clients and make them feel at ease during the stress of a wedding day. I plan to teach this individual all the specific skills needed to maneuver the obstacles that naturally come with along with a wedding. I will also be teaching minimal photography skills, such as composition and light selection.
The person that would be most fitting for this position will have an impeccable work ethic, is willing to put clients first and have a love for weddings! As the Wedding Assistant, you will become part of the family and I am asking for a 6-12 month commitment. Along with the hourly pay rate, I often provide large Starbucks Pink Drinks, popcorn and of course, gluten free cupcakes. Some out of state opportunities may also be available if interested in travel.
To apply for this position, fill out this application, and email me your PDF Resumé. Direct any further questions to jessicabreesphotography@gmail.com.
