I love photographing the whole part of your journey as a couple - proposals, engagements, bridals, boudoir, anniversary sessions, and of course, weddings. My mission is to provide you with a fun, enjoyable and stress-free experience, from the day that we meet, to far beyond your wedding day. I know how precious and meaningful these photos are to you, so it is my mission to capture authentic moments that you can relive for the rest of your lives. I love my job and the fact that I am invited to be a part of the best day of your lives! I love celebrating with you, and trust me when I say, you will see me out on that dance floor with you!
I'm like a bridesmaid with a camera... but am I the right fit for you?

I am bubbly with a touch of sass, and I always have a smile on my face. I will be your cheerleader and help you pull pranks on your husband. I will teach you the moves to the Wobble and rap Lizzo with you on the party bus. I will bustle your dress, feed you sandwiches, deep breathe with you, hype your bridesmaids, and wrangle rowdy groomsmen. I will hug your Grandma and listen to her stories. But most importantly, I will make sure you have the best day of your life and I'll make sure I get your good side while you do!
If you're looking for a photographer who is low key, quiet, and hands-off, I'm not your girl. But if you're looking for a fun experience with your photographer and soon-to-be new friend, I just might be the right fit for you!

If we decide we are a good fit, a signed contract and paid retainer is all you need to lock in your day! Your date is not reserved until this point and I accept a limited number of weddings, so don't delay on this step!

Your package comes with one session and you can choose from an Engagement Session, Bridal Session, Boudoir Session or Anniversary Session! Most couples choose to add on an additional session as well!

About a month before your wedding, I will reach out to you to talk about the logistics and details for your day! This helps me prepare for your big day, create your custom timeline, prep your family formal lists, and more!

SNEAK PEEKS

I want you to have photos to share as soon as possible, so keep an eye on your email and social media for sneak peeks of your day! These sneak peeks will be delivered to you within one week of the wedding!
GALLERY DELIVERY

About 1-3 weeks after your big day, you will receive your full gallery! Most wedding galleries include about 700 photos - thats a ton of photos! You can download, share and print these photos straight from your gallery!
ALBUM DESIGN

If you purchased an album, we will begin the album design process! I will walk you through the process of choosing your album cover and your favorite photos, and we will design the album together!

As a Breezy Bride, you get access to professionally printed albums, books, canvases, prints and more through your online gallery! All of our prints and products are high quality, durable and will last you years and years to come. It is so different to physically hold your photos in your hand. KNOWLEDGE I'm self taught with the help of 10 extensive online courses and three national conferences.

There's no reason to stress about how much coverage you need - my team and I will be there as long as we need to be! On a typical wedding day, this is 9 hours of coverage, or closer to 11 hours on Catholic wedding days!
The Breezy Wedding Package
To keep things super simple for everyone, I offer one all-inclusive wedding package! I’m a firm believer that your wedding day should be the best day of your life! You deserve a stress free day that is focused on celebrating with your family and friends. To make sure it’s super stress free when it comes to photography & videography, I offer one package that includes all the things you need for an amazing experience!
The Breezy Wedding Experience Includes:
all day coverage
I never shoot without one of my trusty assistants! This ensures a moment is never missed and that another camera is focused on those in-between moments! This also means we have constant help with hair-fixing and dress-floofing!
second pair of hands
The Wedding Package includes one Portrait Session (between one and two hours). Choose from Engagement, Bridal, Boudoir, Save the Date video or Anniversary. You can add on more too!
portrait session
All edited photos will be delivered to you via a password-protected, online gallery. These images will not be watermarked and can be downloaded and shared! This will include images from the wedding day as well as from any portrait sessions we shot!
online gallery
In addition to your online gallery, a Keepsake Box & USB will be sent to you after your big day! This USB will include all edited photos from your wedding, your wedding video & sessions!

The Print Release allows you to download, share and print your photos with general limitations. You can print them on your own, or order through our professional lab!

Your wedding and each session will include free travel up to 120 miles round trip from 51012. Additional mileage after that will be $0.75 per mile!

Stress free is TOP PRIORITY for me. We will outline a photo timeline for your day so you know work together to create a custom timeline and a list of formal family portraits you would like. I will also help answer questions on what to prepare for photos throughout the day, and lead you through key moments like the first look and cake cutting!

Say hello to your new BFF. We are going to get to know each other pretty well though this process and my couples quickly turn into new friends. Just consider me a bridesmaid with a camera! I got you through the entire process, and all the way to eating cake and doing the Cupid Shuffle at the end of your big day!

we don't need engagement photos. can we remove that cost?
Engagement sessions are all included as a complimentary service and have no monetary value attached to them. These sessions are to help us get to know one another more as well as get you both comfortable in front of the camera, which I believe to be of high value!
Do you provide a second photographer?
If you would like a second photographer, you may add one with a separate fee to pay him/her. However, I normally bring an assistant (my hubby or trusted friend) with me to all wedding days, he/she just won't be shooting.
Will we have the rights to our images?
All images are released to you with printing rights. This means you are free to download, post, print, share and create however you want! The only thing you are asked not to do is re-edit the photos, as they do not come with the "copyright" release.
How many photos will we get? are they edited?
I can't guarantee a number of photos, but a typical wedding day produces 50 to 75 images per hour of coverage. Most couples receive over 600 images in their gallery, and all final images are professional edited by me by hand.
Do you charge a travel fee?
I do not charge travel fees unless the event is further than 60 miles from Cherokee, IA. If it is further away, I charge the standard $0.75 per mile.
what is the first step to book photo & video?
To be "officially booked," I ask for a signed digital contract and a non-refundable deposit of $500 to hold your date. Dates are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
