We had no idea what to. expect going in to this wedding day! Was spring in Iowa going to be snow and blistery cold wind, or green, warm with lots of blooms?
Since it was early April we got a mixed bag of an overcast day that was warm enough we were sweating while outside finished with a hail storm and no sunset. Weather aside, the wedding day was absolutely beautiful!
Jenna was the most laid back bride I could have asked for for the “season opener.” The day ran smoothly without any major hiccups and everyone seemed truly happy and simply enjoyed the time surrounded by family. Not to mention that Justin and Jenna now have a blended family of five of the most adorable children. Seriously, I’ve never had children pose and stay put so nicely for photos!
Mint and Gold Wedding
Justin and Jenna put together a minimalistic wedding focused on mint tones and golden accents, which all came together beautifully in the Prairie Winds Event Center!
This was my first time shooting at this venue and I loved it! The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. Thank you for hosting such a wonderful day.
