A TIMELESS AND ELEGANT WEDDING AT WILLOW CREEK GOLF COURSE IN LEMARS, IOWA | SIOUX CITY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Ready for another stunning wedding? I AM! I hope you’re ready for this wedding at Willow Creek Golf Course. Tyler and Samantha’s day was one of those lucky, beautiful December days that was just a little bit chilly but didn’t have wind and the sun was shining bright! I don’t know about you, but I consider that almost tolerable for winter! Give me sunshine or two feet of fresh snow…there’s no middle ground here!

I literally could have shot the wedding details all day long! The mix of dusty blue, gray, and timeless ivory was a stunning combination! Samantha’s dress was a beautiful statement with lots of lace detail, so she didn’t need a lot of jewelry. The diamond studs she chose were pure perfection!

I was okay moving on from details only because we were shooting the first look and portraits on Samantha’s Grandmother’s front porch. **All the heart eyes** for that porch, friends! It was a photographer’s dream with all white to bounce light perfectly and the white columns were such a fun aspect to work with! If I wasn’t afraid of looking like a creeper, I would consider framing one of their portraits in my office because that porch was *dreamy.*

Dreamy Details

I have never shot inside the Willow Creek banquet Hall in LeMars. I’ve shot *around* it plenty… sneaking onto the deck, in front of their gorgeous doorways, and even in front of the dumpster enclosure twice! Trust me on that one, it’s **worth it!** There is so much beauty with the trees, stone and adobe walls! To make it even better, Tyler and Samantha chose a simple and elegant theme for the reception. A few small Christmas trees covered in twinkle lights served as their head table backdrop. Each table was draped in navy blue and silver sequins. The coolest part, and my **favorite** detail was that every table had their own individual cake as the centerpiece! Such a creative touch!
