A Travel Themed Wedding at Prairie Winds Event Center | Orange City Wedding Photographer

Just like their friends said during toasts and speeches, there was something different about Jeff and Jessica from the beginning.  All the adventures they have experienced together, have led up to this joyous occasion. If you ask me, it was worth the wait!

Their wedding at Prairie Winds Event Center was nothing short of PHENOMENAL!

Jeff and Jessica’s engagement session was the first time we met in person . It proved to be a high-pressure situation. They wanted engagement photos in all four seasons; naturally, my session with them was in SNOW!  Tromping through the snow with frozen noses obviously did not make for the best way to get to know each other! 😂

Thanks to our own adventure, I learned very quickly that Jeff and Jessica have a gentle love based around a strong friendship! There is no shortage of laughter in their life.  Even their children are the most spirited, fun-loving kiddos!  The way these two look at each other will melt your heart. Travel and Adventure

The design for the wedding day was incredible.  Their theme, “travel and adventure”, was evident for guests from the moment they opened the invitation, all the way through to the favors! I hope I didn’t annoy Jessica with my random Pinterest-filled messages of globes and luggage tags. David Anderson Weddings helped them plan and design the theme. Jeff and Jessica executed it extremely well. David and his team knocked it out of the park with this wedding day and I loved being their wedding photographer in Orange City!

I have one word to end this blog post – JEALOUS! The newlyweds are already in the Caribbean, enjoying their honeymoon on the beach. I can’t wait for my turn to lounge in the sand during “off season,” but for now, I really hope Jeff and Jessica love the first peek at their wedding images!
