Andrew and Chebrai got married in LeMars at the Plymouth County Fairgrounds in an incredibly laid back and fun-loving wedding day! Throughout a chaotic timeline and a bit of rain scattered throughout the day, Chebrai stayed cool under pressure and was a pleasure to work with! She and all the bridesmaids were helpful and entertaining while letting me do my thing and shoot the details.

I always feel like a tornado…

I always feel like a tornado hitting the scene when I tear the getting ready room apart, but they trusted me and the detail photos came out so stunning! Details are always my favorite part of the wedding day (other than cupcakes and the dance floor), but these detail shots are a step above the rest! The rental property Chebrai chose to get ready in was perfect and I highly recommend it to any bride in the area looking for a photogenic room to get ready in!

I am going to start with a friendly PSA: if you make an extreme change to your physical appearance between your engagement session and your wedding day, please let your photographer know! That way, when she walks in to the chaotic room where your groomsmen are getting ready, she won’t feel incredibly silly when she realizes she can’t recognize the groom!

Here’s what I mean friends, if you remember Andrew from his engagement session with Chebrai, his hair was completely different! So imagine my pure shock seeing him with short hair now! I was completely stunned and it took me a minute to recover…I hope he didn’t notice my hesitation when I first saw him on his wedding day!

After realizing who the groom actually was, the rest of the day was an absolute blast. The bridal party was made up of fun characters who all have hearts of gold. I loved spending time with the sweet bridesmaids, and I feel so grateful in general that Andrew and Chebrai trusted me to document their wedding day. I now am left with an incredibly huge crush on their little boy, as he is such a big flirt. I hope you all treasure these photos and love them as much as I do!
