SIOUX CITY, IOWA ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT BACON CREEK PARK | SIOUX CITY ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
I met Cole and Katie in person for the first time back in July when we met at Bacon Creek park in Sioux City to shoot their engagement photos. That was just the beginning of busy season and Jaxon was already feeling the “separation blues” with me. Katie was so incredibly sweet, letting me know it was okay to bring Jax with me. She teaches littles all day and she was both patient and kind, speaking to Jaxon like his own person throughout our session. He was such a good assistant for the night and thank you both for letting him come!
I was nervous to shoot at Bacon Creek again because the last time I was there, the angry geese chased me around! But we avoided the geese and kept all of our toes in tact for this session. We caught the most beautiful glowy light over the water!! I was a little bit obsessed with Katie’s ring because it is so similar to mine – she must have phenomenal taste!
Cole told me all about his younger brother and how close they are. He showed me their secret hand gesture and even though Cole isn’t the biggest fan of having photos taken, he participated without complaint. I even caught some smiles throughout the session showing teeth! Photographer success! These two are incredibly easy to chat with and I had so much fun shooting with them!
I am looking forward to their wedding in Hawarden next May!
