I was so incredibly excited to shoot Austin and Lindsey’s engagement session at Hall Ranch near Lyons, Colorado! I first met Lindsey when she hired me to shoot her senior pictures a few years ago. Now she has chosen me to document her wedding as well I am just so happy to see “legacy clients” grow through the phases of their lives, from graduates to brides to young mamas! All the heart eyes for warm fuzzy moments like this, friends!
I feel you over there telling me to rein the mushy feels back in, so I will regroup myself!
Austin and Lindsey are planning their wedding for August of 2020 at a beautiful ranch, but we wanted to get into the landscape of the mountains for their engagement session. Austin loves to fish and be outdoors, so this was the perfect setting for them! I think we went in on a different side of the park than I expected, but I have no regrets because this was a session from my dreams.
a chic country picnic
We worked together for a couple of weeks to plan out the outfits and details! Pinterest had our heads spinning with ideas, but we landed on a “countryside picnic” type of feel for their last outfit. Lindsey chose an incredible blue tulle skirt from Etsy and her florist helped make a bouquet similar to the style of her wedding flowers. She shopped for a cute basket and I worked on hand lettering a wine bottle with their names and wedding date.
Bringing all the elements together along with the stunner of a diamond ring Austin chose was incredibly fun! I hope you love the peek at this engagement session! đź’•
PS: I now offer engagement films to any engagement session! This was a first that I filmed and what a first it was! Complete stunner!
