In the weeks before Ryan and Kendra’s wedding, I was just not sure what the weather was going to be. Late November in Iowa could be a gamble, giving us wind, snow, freezing rain…any mixture of early winter weather. But the day of the wedding we all woke up to a beautiful sunny day! They got the absolute jackpot for their fun filled wedding day.
Ryan and Kendra actually met in the seventh grade! Talk about childhood sweethearts, they dated for years! Their relationship had a brief break, but it didn’t take them long to realize that it was meant to be. With how long they’ve known each other and dated, I wonder how long Kendra has dreamed of their wedding day? Watching their slideshow was a true pleasure, hearing them talk about the first day they met, their journey together, and what they love most about each other. I teared up a little bit (shocker) watching their old photos and seeing them grow up together. I think that’s the ultimate relationship goals, to be young and in love and make it work all through life!
Not only were Ryan and Kendra blessed with an inspiring love story and gorgeous fall weather on their wedding day, they were also extremely blessed to be surrounded by so many loved ones! They had 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen, plus many more friends and family by their sides to support them as they made this huge commitment! I loved watching each of them interact with their friends and get to truly be themselves and enjoy their day. Watching Kendra quietly wipe tears away as she was overcome with emotion at different parts throughout the day was a secret treasure that I am glad to have documented for her. She is the sweetest.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Hajek! Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your wedding day! I hope you love your photos and cherish them for years to come as you build your life and family together!
