Friends, I was SO incredibly excited to be back shooting a full wedding day! Ryan and Stephanie’s intimate Marriott Riverfront hotel wedding was the best way I could think of to re-start the 2020 wedding season! It was an impeccably designed wedding featuring loads of fresh florals and shades of pink mixed with timeless details!
Sometimes I think to myself, the Covid quarantine has only been three or four months, but I’ll say it’s been some of the longest, most challenging four months yet! Not having any weddings since early March was a huge trial for this cake and confetti loving extrovert! I am not exaggerating when I say this wedding day was PERFECTION for the first one back!
Ryan and Stephanie are absolutely adorable together! They are two of the most caring and giving people I’ve seen get married, as stated over and over again in toasts and speeches. They love their friends and family dearly, and were surrounded by their biggest supporters! It was an ongoing fact that their wedding day plan was altered by the Covid shutdowns and restrictions. By the time they had their wedding, they may have been on Plan C or D. However, they knew the entire time that all that mattered was the two of them and beginning their life together as a married couple.
So, throughout all of the changes and stressors, they stuck to their goal of being married on the twentieth of June and it turned out to be the most precious, heartwarming day! Their wedding was full of laughter, tears, hugs, and genuine joy. I am so blessed to have been their wedding photographer and am so thankful to be back to work! Congratulations, Stephanie and Ryan! I wish you all of the best in your married journey together!
