Formal Summer Engagement Session in Downtown Sioux City

I am still chipping away at my “archived engagement sessions”…which makes me happy because I get to share #alltheprettythings on the blog! AH!!!
I first met Alec and Brittany over a Skype meeting to book their wedding, but they are even more adorable in person! We met in downtown Sioux City and I quickly learned just how sweet they are! They have a love for one another that is impossible to miss, Brittany has impeccable styling taste, and their dog is incredibly friendly! Mix that all together, and it was the easiest-to-shoot kind of engagement sessions!
We NAILED it on timing with this sessions! Right as we were finishing up the first outfits, the clouds rolled away and the most beautiful glowing light peeked through the trees across the street from the Hard Rock Hotel! But that wasn’t even the highlight, because by the time we made it to their third outfit, the sunset at the top of the parking garage was super soft and perfect for some romantic portraits! It matched their formal outfit perfectly and I loved shooting them dancing and laughing on the rooftop all to themselves! I can’t forget to mention Tito (their dog) because she was a gem and absolutely stole the show! Here are some of my favorites from their e-shoot last year.
