I have SO many goals in 2026, but a lot of them involve cutting out mobile phone usage, simplifying social media use, and getting back to “analog” activities. The hard part is how to do this all while still marketing my photography business digitally!! All marketing for me is funneled from Facebook and Instagram back to my website.
REVIVE THE BLOG
BUT! The idea I had to get things back on track and feeling more authentic was to REVIVE THE BLOG!! This is a fun little corner of the internet that I fully own, and I intent to bring it all back this year! 🎉
So, here’s my re-launch celebration on #seniorsunday with Elise’s colorful senior portraits at Luli Creative House in Omaha, Nebraska. Elise was one of my first Senior Portrait sessions for the Class of 2026, and we had a blast – of air conditioning! Seriously, I was so thankful we rented the studio to use because it was 94 degrees outside with high humidity. The short time we shot outdoors, we were sweaty messes barely holding it together!
THINK ABOUT RENTING A STUDIO
If you want to shoot in the middle of summer but have air conditioning, or if you want a different vibe and look for your photos, renting a studio space is a great option! The thing I love about Luli Creative House is all of the props and furniture that come with the rental! All the sofas, chairs, pillows, mirrors and the mural wall is always changing! Plus they have paper backdrops in any color we’d want! Everything my BRIGHT and JOYFUL dreams are made of!
This studio is great for senior sessions, sessions with babies and toddlers, and especially great for business branding sessions! The content creation options are through the ROOF! My creativity definitely skyrockets any time I am there! 🚀
