A Winter Engagement at Adams Nature Reserve and Downtown Sioux City | Sioux City Wedding Photographer

I absolutely loved shooting this winter engagement session in downtown Sioux City and Adams Nature Reserve with Daniel and Kara! They are such genuine and kindhearted people.  I could tell right off the bat that they are crazy for each other! 

Kara caught me while I was hosting a booth at the Country Celebrations Vendor Show back at the beginning of February. We chatted for the longest time! It was the first time I met them in person, and they were telling me how Kara had injured her foot, as well as, had jaw surgery recently. So, in true Breezy fashion, of course I suggested we shoot their engagement session as soon as possible! 🤣

But for real, I knew they wanted a snowy, winter engagement session and we were scheduled to get some snow that week. The timing worked out perfectly, and I met them back in Sioux City a few days later! While shooting, we chatted about all sorts of things! I learned that Daniel is from LA and that Kara had once lived in Charleston, SC. I am INSANELY jealous of her, as Charleston is huge on my travel bucket list! 

Even though the temperature that day was nothing like Dan was probably used to in Cali, it was still gorgeous and sunny! The image gallery is stunning and it makes me SO excited to shoot their wedding in August. They are naturals in front of the camera and I kept joking that they must model on the side of their medical careers!
