The first video I filmed this year was for Rylee and Steven. I’ll admit, I was pretty nervous! In true Breezy fashion, I had it on my “off season to-do list” to finish my film making course, but it didn’t quite get accomplished. So I did not feel prepared to take this on after they hired me a few short weeks before the big day.
But boy did they make it EASY to film the entire day!! Both Rylee and Steven are incredibly laid back and they had the most relaxed wedding vibe!! They’re interactions were pure wedding film MAGIC…and I’m not even exaggerating!
I adored every single moment working with Steven! The poor guy had never met me, and we all know I can be a bit extra. But he took it in stride and warmed up instantly! His emotion when reading their letters was so heartwarming. I know that he was letting every single heartfelt word sink in and speak to him! Each clip we shot I noticed he couldn’t peel his eyes off of his bride! If he was an emoji, it would be the one with stars in its eyes because he was just dazzled by Rylee the entire day. I loved seeing the moments between them!
Rylee had a vision for a classic, elegant wedding day and she nailed it! The decor was simply stunning! Her dress fit her impeccably and I loved her chandelier earrings! I’m not sure she loved every time I asked her to laugh on demand, but she was game for anything. My absolute favorite part of working with her was watching her wave to almost every driver that drove by while shooting portraits on Main Street in Orange City! It was the most endearing thing to know she recognized so many people and valued seeing them on her big day. I laughed and kept telling them to stop waving at friends and focus on the portraits!
Overall the day was just lovely and flew by with such ease! I’m so glad they connected with me and trusted me to create their wedding film!! This is just the sneak peek, but I’m OBSESSED! Congratulations Rylee and Steven!!
