Engagement Session on the Iowa State University Campus in Ames, Iowa
I am spending the first part of the New Year preparing the rest of the engagement sessions from last year to be blogged. Ryan and Danielle’s engagement session at Iowa State University was back in September when the weather was still warm and beautiful! I was ecstatic to drive to Ames, Iowa to meet them and shoot on the campus.
Ryan has his hands a bit full with Danielle, as she is the best kind of free spirit! But man-oh-man, he was in for it when in the company of Danielle AND me! I think Danielle and I are very similar personality-wise: spunky, outgoing, a bit oblivious to the rest of the world and VERY energetic!! Picture the dog, Dug, from Disney/Pixar’s movie Up that yells “Squirrel!” all the time; now picture Dug with an identical twin and THAT’S what Ryan was working with when the two of us came together at the engagement session!! Organized chaos!
With all the extra energy and the countless BEAUTIFUL backdrops around campus, this was a very fun engagement session! I loved getting to know Danielle and Ryan better and sharing all the laughs. I am looking forward to their wedding this June – it will be here before we all know it!
