Falls Park Engagement Session in Sioux Falls, South Dakota | Sioux Falls Wedding Photographer

I have only shot a couple engagement sessions at Falls Park up in Sioux Falls. This was maybe the second or third time I’ve been there and I was SO excited! The weather was lovely, and despite a few overcast days, the sun had finally come out and I was ready to shoot!

I met Joe and Sara and their adorable kiddos in person at our consultation meeting, and it was so good to see them again! We started with some family photos, but the littles were NOT having any of it! They put me to WORK and I still don’t feel like I got a good family shot for them in the end. Even bribery failed us all, but at least we tried.

By the time we made it up to Falls Park, the sunset was glowy and my type of perfect!! We had a blast hiking around, finding the best spots in the park! I don’t always like when cars and people are cluttering the background and I think we did a phenomenal job of hiding it all! My favorite part of this e-shoot was when Joe asked to “re-create” his proposal, because it was at Falls Park as well! Joe and Sara laughed and laughed, and it was just the cutest!

Their wedding is coming up in July and I am sure they are counting down the days! I hope we have enough candy to bribe the kids with that day! Enjoy this sneak peek of Joe and Sara’s engagement gallery.
