There was an incredible amount of excitement to shoot Trevor and Angeline’s Sioux City engagement photos! Angeline had come up with some amazingly unique ideas, as a result, I was ready to shake things up!
This engagement session was to be a cross between a lifestyle shoot and a traditional outdoor portrait shoot. Everybody knows I am a nature-junkie, but my creative side was bursting to explore the lifestyle photo opportunities.
The lifestyle aspect was my absolute favorite. I hope to do some more of it in the future! Angeline planned to include all of their favorite at home activities, including, cooking/baking, playing the guitar while cuddling, and playing board games. Their pupper, Milo, had the cutest expression for his shots!
The beautiful Bacon Creek Park, for these Sioux City engagement photos, was the setting of the traditional outdoor portrait shoot. The wide open spaces and warm hues of summer made the evening especially inviting. The way Trevor gazes at Angeline, just melts my heart. We had one rough patch with an unruly group of geese chasing us out of our glowy spot, but Trevor stood his ground and Angeline grabbed my backpack of gear as I ran away and laughed at us all. #truestory
I can’t wait for their wedding next year. As I’ve gotten to know Angeline, I’ve learned that she is incredibly creative, hard working and organized. In conclusion, it’ll be a phenomenal wedding with impeccable styling. I’m one hundred percent positive that it will be amazing!
